After yesterday’s podcast, Ken Imbody, who guested on the episode, had some additional thoughts he wanted to share in regards to “Aliens: Colonial Marines.” Essentially, Ken felt that the game was so incredibly underwhelming that he needed to spell out what he thought would make for a good (and not-so-good) Aliens game in the future.
Honestly, I think he is pretty spot on here, and I am sure he would love to hear your thoughts on the subject!
This time around on the show, we return to the round table format we experimented with in Episode 2 this season and Rob Eubank returns as the guest co-host. Rob and I are joined this week by Ken Imbody, a guest in Season 2 who works with Rob writing for and managing the “State of Flux” blog. Among the topics we talk about are the “Colonial Marines” debacle and a discussion regarding the merits (or lack thereof) in pre-ordering video games site-unseen.
Music this week comes from the soundtrack to the movie “Aliens” and also features a just-for-fun bonus track suggested by Ken.

This week on the show, my friend Ken Imbody joins us to talk about his latest obsession: “XCOM: Enemy Unknown.” We also talk about a few other topics too, including “Guild Wars 2” and the recent purchase of LucasArts by Disney.
Ken is an avid role-player and gamer and an all-around nerd in many ways. He’s a fun person to pick his brain with comic book questions, so perhaps in a future episode (Season 3?) he will join us to talk about comics!
If you have any questions for Ken, feel free to send them to me and I will be sure to pass them along.
