My selling of rare games continues this weekend as I now have a very rare copy of an 8-bit port of “Dragon Quest V” to the Famicom available on eBay. This game was made by Waixing Computer Science, Inc. in China around 2010 and uses the engine of “Dragon Quest II” to recreate the Super Famicom RPG. It features unique box art and this copy is complete with the box and manual and is, as far as I know, completely unplayed!
I’m asking $49.99 currently for it, but I may consider reasonable offers.
Also, if you are still interested in the “Super Mario World” game on the Genesis, I also still have a copy of that on eBay for only $24.99!
Oh boy, another rare game up for grabs! This time, however, it’s one that Rockman collectors will certainly appreciate: “Rockman DX3” for the Game Boy Color!
DX3 is a game that was produced by Chinese company VastFame back in 2002 and the game is part of a trilogy of titles that includes “Rockman Z” (GBC, 2001) and “Rockman & Crystal” (GBA, 2004). These titles are all very hard to come by in physical form (e.g. not a ROM) outside of China, so if this is a game you are looking for, I believe the price is very reasonable!
To see the auction and find out more, head on over to its eBay listing!
What’s next on the so-called chopping block that I’m selling? Why, it’s “Super Mario World” for the Sega Genesis!
Yes, you heard it right, the Sega Genesis. This game was originally released around 1998 in China and is an altered version of “Squirrel King,” a game produced by Taiwanese developer Gamtec. It shares many gameplay similarities to “Rescue Rangers” but all-in-all is decently fun to play. And, of course, while ROMs circulate the Internet for this game, a cartridge version is rather hard to come by!
If this might be something that tickles your fancy, I should add that it will play on any Genesis or Mega-Drive unit and will make for an excellent and rare collector’s item!
If you are interested, head on over to the eBay page and take a look!
Worried that you missed your chance to pick this game up when I was practically giving away a copy of it for my special 1,500 followers milestone? Well, worry no more as a copy of the game is now live on eBay for a reasonable starting price! Considering how very rare this game is, starting the auction at $39.99 is very generous! However, the auction ends in a mere 5 days from now, so don’t waste time securing your copy!
Be sure to check the auction out here on eBay!
I had a very large shipment of games come in directly from China a couple weeks ago, but real-life factors prevented me from posting anything about them. Still, I did allude to this in the past, and the part of this that relates to the 1500 followers milestone for this blog will be revealed tomorrow…So stay tuned!
Anyway, currently I have a new title up for sale on eBay – “Phantasy Star IV” for the original Famicom!
Yes, that’s right, the original, 8-bit Famicom! This game was created in 2011 by Chinese developer Waixing Computer Science and is a demake of the original Genesis/Mega-Drive classic. The game is about as complete as can be expected given the limitations of the series, and the only negative I can find with it is that the music can be a little strange in a few places. Still, this would make a wonderful addition to any collector’s closet or a great conversation piece for fans of the original series!
If you are interested in potentially buying the game, head on over to my listing on eBay!
Oh, and you can see rare goodies I am selling at my little shop page on the blog before they head to eBay, so be sure to snag them before you have competition!
